Our ambitious and innovative Council programme to build 1000 homes on our own land is progressing at pace with 14 homes now complete, 174 under construction and nearly 50% of the homes at advanced feasibility stage or further. 60% will be homes for sale or rent to people on low to middle incomes, or new council homes.

We will prioritise local residents and workers through our Homeownership Team, dedicated to helping over 4000 households who have signed up to our Homeownership register. This team do a fantastic job helping people achieve their aspiration to own their own home.
